single @ 28

October, it's the time again when i'll be adding another year to my age. at 28, it's the time when almost all of our friends are getting married and are starting to build their own family... here i am celebrating my 28th birthday by having a blast at the beach!

when parents, aunts and uncles persistently ask you the perennial question, 'when are you getting married?!', 'where's you're BF?!' it's nice to get away from them sometimes. i know, im single but do you have to rub it in?!

i dont have any problem being single at this age. i get to enjoy what i want to do and i get to travel to anywhere, anytime. yeah, i still long for someone who would hold my hand, kiss me goodnight and say sweet nothings.

as they say, all of us have our own happy ending, if its not happy then its not yet the end. but i kinda accept the fact that if prince charming wouldn't show up i'd still be fine.
